I am Brytnee K. Acuña, and I am not only a prolife advocate, but I am also a wife, mother, daughter, and a woman conceived in difficult medical emergency circumstances. 

My mother was pressured at the age of 19 to abort me several times during her HIGH RISK pregnancy. I was also deemed "incompatible with life " by doctors, physicians and medical specialists. This was due to the medical emergency with my mother's difficult case with her new diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1990.

My mother's life was changed forever in an instant with her new diagnosis. This disease would not only be aggressive in the present time, but would be proven with time to be both unyielding and debilitating. Not only would she face the threat to her own life with this diagnosis, but she would also face an unplanned, high-risk pregnancy while trying to navigate her life in a new world of loud voices. These voices are of doctors, physicians, and MS Medical specialists telling her what she must do to save her life. Along with the voices of family and friends that only wanted what was best for her well-being. For her life was in a life-threatening situation that had little to no good outcome.

However, this heroic woman, my mother, chose LIFE!

After 9 months of unbelievable bravery, courage and the faith of a woman of only 19 years of age. She did NOT accept abortion as the option in her difficult conditions... even when her life and the life of her child would need emergency medical intervention, or both lives could be lost. She still chose LIFE.

Because of my mom, I am alive today, 33 years later, with a whole LIFE of my own and generations of LIFE to come.

I was born in the summer of 1991.
A healthy baby girl, to ALLS' amazement, BOTH my mother and I survived the pregnancy and delivery day with no complications. 

I have dedicated my life to trying to serve the Lord and His Son, Jesus Christ. 
I live to share my mom and I's story in hopes that others' hearts will be changed towards LIFE.

My prayer is that you can hear of our story... and that you may also hear of the many other extraordinary and faith-filled stories of LIFE...  My hope is for you to form a VALUE for LIFE and PERSONHOOD. Even when it comes to the most vulnerable preborn children... in difficult, painful and arduous circumstances. 

I am just one of many lives that have been saved from abortion, and there are hundreds of thousands of lives that have been impacted by the battleground that is between the LIFE of the preborn baby and the extermination that is abortion. 

The preborn are BATTLE-BORN because they are in the womb in BATTLE for their very lives every single day at the mercy of a choice by another.

We have been born, and we must join this BATTLE of the vulnerable.

We must speak for them in these battle-grounds, and we must fight the good fight for their right to LIFE after all, we are a country of "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."

I am PROUD to be prolife.

Following Christ's example and protecting the preborn is my mission.
